By August, information about the iGSE has been presented at several meetings and conferences in The Hague (Article VI Forum, March), Kiev (Chronobyl+20, April), Vancouver (World Peace Forum, July), and Hamburg (inauguration of Carl-Friedrich von Weizsäcker Center for Science and Peace Research, July). The project is also described in INESAP Information Bulletin (#26, June 2006).
Results from initial discussions among iGSE members will be presented to various international fora including the Article VI Forum and IPFM meeting in Ottawa; the UN General Assembly First Committee in New York; the INES Council meeting and annual conference, the International Peace Bureau Triennial Conference, and the IPPNW World Assembly, all in Helsinki; the IAEA Board of Governors in Vienna; and the Foreign Ministries of selected countries. INESAP Information Bulletin #27 (autumn/winter 2006) will focus on iGSE with a whole collection of papers on various iGSE aspects. (more...)
